Inn; the Firefly

Watching the people around a smile spread on my face, neither harmless or threatening. How come all this creatures had arrived at the same time, not knowing each other? Coincidence? I think not. Rising my hand in the air and looked at the old lady.
"The same whine for me."

This could be interesting.

I look up as the voice of a older mortal woman spoke and watched tired as the other two in the room order something. I sat up and looked at the woman as she looked at me.

"And you dear?" She smiles sweet and I tilt my head before yawning.

"You got any dango?" The woman chuckles and nodds. I smile tiredly before the animal with me repeats 'Dango! Dango!' as it runs up to the woman.

I looked at the old lady shyly, she looks nice... I thought. "Can I just have som water..? or maybe a soda?"

The old lady looked at me with a smile "ofcourse"


I sigh in relief and smile softly.

The woman came back with a glass and a whine bottle. She placed the glass in front of me and poured.
"That's enough" I raised my hand and smiled.
As she left I put the glass against my lips and tasted the whine.

After pouring up the whine to the woman the old lady walked over with a glass and whine to me. She put the glass down and since I never stopped her, poured a full glass.
"Thank you ma'am." I said as she was done, but didn't touch the whine.

The woman went back in behind the door. When she got back she was holding a plate with 6 Dango's. My mouth water and I grinned childish as she walked around to my table.

"Here you have dear." The animal jumps up to my horn again before diving down to start nibble at a Dango.

"Arigatou Obaa-san!" I grin before starting to eat one.

she slowly walked over to me with a soda in her hand and put it town at the table beside the couch "thank you so much.." I said and take a sip of it, I look around "is there a bathroom anywhere in this house?..."

the old lady smiled at me "yes, upstairs, the second door to the right"

"thank you" I stand up and walked to the stairs

The lady soon placed a big plate with a raw steak in front of me. I stared at it with my mouth watering a while before grabbing it with my hands to take a huge bite, ripping off a huge piece with my carnivore teeth.
"Oh my God" I mumbled, eyes closed, with blood dripping down my chin and down on the plate. I swallowed the bite, looking up at the remaining group, smiling apologetically with blood around my mouth and pieces of meat between my teeth. "Bon Appetit?"

I couldn't help but let out a low, deep chuckle as I watched the surrounding group. How had it come they all came here at the exact same time?
The glass of wine was still untouched, having the same red colour as the fresh blood falling down the woman's cheek. My eyes fell on the boy with the small, never relaxing, animal. He looked bored.

I turned as I felt eyes on my back. I tilted my head while the small animal turned aswel and quickly got up to run up to the guy.

"Gin! Gin!" It called out happy as it spoke about the guy's hair. It ran up his knees to sit in the hair. I just watched before turning back to my dango.

I walked to the toilet and closed the door, I looked myself in the mirror "what is happening..." -I washed my face before I went down to the others again

I chewed loudly and jumped slightly when the door flew open.
Two big, handsome, muscular guys walked in with various weapons ready to attack. "We know what you are, you damned freaks... well... sort of."
I grabbed my dagger and lifted my upper lip to show off my teeth.
"At least you" the shorter one announced and pointed at me with his gun a few times.
I got up and walked over to him slowly. "And why is that a problem to you?"
His partner, the long one with somewhat long hair walked around to the others. I was too busy getting pissed off the other one to notice what he was doing.
He seemed to not have anything else to say to that, so we just stood there, keeping an intense staring contest which I intended not to loose.

Guess whooooo!

"I believe you gentlemen are desturbing in the middle of the lady's food." I said in a deep but amused voice. The man staring the woman in the eye just gave me a quick glanze while the other looked back.

I looked at the guys with the dango-stick hanging in his mouth bored. One of the guys looked around bored and met my eyes. He stared at each other for awhile before I yawned.

"Why can't this wait to later?" I asked bored as I was in no mood for fighting. To annoying and boring. The animal, still siting on the my guy's shoulder, looked insecure as it hid in the blond hair. "Kowai..."

I stoped and sit down on the stairs to make myself as small as possible to not get the two guys eyes on me, I dident like new people, but the once who I met in this house was nice, exept for the guys who just came.

I kept staring at him, more intense for every second passing.
"You know... I never hurt a human that didn't deserve it. So why exactly are you here? To kill me for being born the way I am? That's a bit douchey... I don't know what the others did, and I don't give a single fuck about it. So please, let me finish my steak without a gun pointed towards me."
The man's mouth twitched a little and his eyes wandered around the room for a few seconds, as if he was trying to find something to say. He shook his gun a bit before lowering it. "Fine. Bon Appetit, dog."
His eyes wandered to the others in the tavern.

Pleased with the men leaving the woman alone I let the shadow of a smile wander my lips. It grew when the two men once again glanced at me, one at the time.
"Please tell gentlemen, what are you seeking?" I asked, letting a more masculine voice then any of theirs fill the room.
"None of your business creep!" One replied. His companion sighed and looked at the others.

The small inn soon feels cramped with all the new people and I start to get tired and annoyed by the two newcomers disturbing the calm and my sweet eating. I tsk low as I leaned back to let my arms and upper body hang over the chair with the dango stick still in my mouth.

"Can you please take this outside." I said bored and as he guy that rolled his eyes turned to look at me I send him a dark and annoyed glare. The thunder flashed outside illuminating the whole inn in a sharp light and my shadow grow big and much different from my otherwise seen form.
